Small World Snydrome

While at the 2017 Writers’ Police Academy this year in Wisconsin, I was pleased to make the acquaintance of Dr. Katherine Ramsland. I attended a lecture of hers on suicide notes and found her to be a very dynamic and knowledgeable speaker. Then due to some other cancelled courses, I elected to partake of couple more of her offerings — Talking with Serial Killers, and Elements of Murder.

I’d posted on Facebook about attending the academy, and each day shared the titles and/or presenters of some of the lectures. In the way of the small world syndrome it turns out that my cousin Steffan’s wife, Libby,  knows Dr. Ramsland. When I mentioned this to Dr. Ramsland at a book signing she smiled at the mention of Libby. Always nice to elicit a smile when mentioning a connection. :0)

Becca loves (in no particular order, ok, the husband comes first, probably) triking, Jeeping, her Spinone, her husband, and his sooper-dooper cutie-patootie of a mutt. The universe presented an opportunity on a platter and, not being one to deny the universe, she’s now taking the chance to chase a dream by transforming from accidental geek to intentional writer.

Now time for the shameless plugs. Please see also her site with her husband about their motorcycle (and some Jeeping) travels, Chasing Blue Sky, and Becca’s site as a Real Estate Broker in Colorado, SpinOne Group.
