Future Dreams

10 now down to 1.

Today = my last day of day-job work for about 16-18 months. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha!

Noooo, I’m not going to prison.

I’ve been voluntarily included in a workforce reduction which nets me enough severance and other payouts in the bank to take a hiatus from the usual to chase (or would that be: exorcise?) some series characters out of my head into bits and bytes. During this hiatus, I plan to get the first book written, spit-polished, and queried to agents in the hopes that I’ll have some feedback before I have to return to “normalcy”.

It’s exciting. Scary too; if it turns out I’m not likely to eventually turn into a published author, what the heck do I dream about then for the rest of my life? Hmmm? What? :0)

Becca loves (in no particular order, hmm, ok, D comes first, probably) triking, Jeeping, B’s Spinone, D, and D’s Whinerarner (and they both greatly miss D’s sooper-dooper cutie-patootie of a mutt, Mia Mutt, and B’s Labradorable, Sophie). The universe presented an opportunity on a platter and, not being one to deny the universe, B took the chance to chase a dream by transforming from accidental geek to intentional writer. {muauuahhhahhhahhh}

Now time for the shameless plugs.
